Terminal Previous Commands

#1 Post by smilliken »

New install of MX 23 with the /home saved. When using the Terminal, the Up and Down arrows produce nothing on the screen.

I've looked on the net and see lots of problems with the ^[A, etc, but this is producing nothing.

I'm sure there is a simple command or setting to get this to remember the last/previous commands typed.

Typing history should show your last X commands, but yes you should have a full history if you arrow up.

*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
