You gave me an idea. Take another pendrive download rufus download mx again this time xfce. Rufus mbr, copy it as iso only (not dd).
I boot from USB C and it recognizes my NVME partitions.
It must be the program with which you install the iso.
Solved using rufus

Redo it, but this time specify that Rufus uses GPT partitioning.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

WIth MX Live USB Maker, you can choose
either MBR ot GPT partition table; and in addition you can als choose dd-dump mode .
May be try as @j2mcgreg suggested first GPT with MX Live USB maker.
Note: In theory both MBR/GPT do work most of the time for UEFI booting, but as in your case,
booting with MBR, may "confuse" the PC-BIOS/UEFI system not to look further for GPT drives.
Thanks

Kernel: 6.5.0-1mx-ahs

(I was going to suggest even the latest Liquorix, just quit for it was a live usb (as you needed 2 more steps to make it permanent))

If you like KDE more than Xfce: you can boot with that, then
  • install the 6.5 from "MX Package Installer" with 2 clicks,
  • then "MX RemasterCC from menu..
  • finally "Live-Usb Kernel Updater"
to make it permanent.

(... Then reboot with that usb)

I have another HP but with an HDD and I ran mxlinux and remastered it. And now what I found is the problem is state machine that changes created by mx linux. I didn't lose my mx remaster because I recreated it with rufus and then overwritten the filesystem.

Can you expand this statement? I'm not sure about what you are trying to say.

I discovered . You are only the parameter pci=nomsi. On hp13 x360 13 with hdd and only hdd prevents the ram memory from being saturated. But this parameter means that nvme is not seen if I boot the most current hp15-er000. eureka
