Keyboard/touchpad don't respond [Solved]
Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
@Dweller Do you still have MX installed on a partition?
Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
Thank you for help.BitterTruth wrote: Tue Oct 03, 2023 12:12 pm@Dweller
Thank you very much for coming back with the information
This huge respect for users is a significant reason to use MX even if there are some alternatives. For now i just technically can't.
Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
I'll install it tomorrow or on sunday. I'll be glad if the problem is solvedCharlie Brown wrote: Tue Oct 03, 2023 2:35 pm @Dweller Do you still have MX installed on a partition?
Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
I just installed MX on my computer again... and it just work! Without any systemd or nomodeset, absolutely standard load.
I have no idea, how it could be, because I didn't update my bootable usb and I didn't connect to the internet during installation.
Anyway, thank you very much!
Here is the system info:

Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
emm.. I just reinstalled it, and there's same problem again. Mystery...
Well, I'm going to try some new installations with different parameters

Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond
I'm here again with absolutely working system.
So the problem is definitely consists in the parameters, that I enter during installation.

Re: Keyboard/touchpad don't respond [Solved]
Current problem solves by services settings.
I usually unmark scanner daemon, printer daemon (cups) and message daemon (dbus). The last one (dbus) was the issue.
BUT I'm pretty sure, that I tried to install MXLinux without touching the services settings in my previous attempts. It's weird.
Anyway, the problem is solved, and I thank you very much.
At least for your patience.
