[SOLVED) MX23 Bluetooth

#1 Post by el.Barto »

Hello,

today I installed MX23 on my Tuxedo Infintybook S14 Gen6, which was running MX21 before.

Everything seems to fine, but I can't pair my Logitech MX Anywhere 3 Mouse and my Logithech Spotlight via Bluetooth. Both aren't discovered when I hit search in "Bluetooth-Geräte" (my installation-language is german...) and also bluetoothctl can't find both when scanning. On MX21 both were paired and worked flawlessly.

On MX23 pairing was possible with a Numberpad and my Aftershoks Opencomm Headset.

But the audio-output is not send to the Headset automatically when it is connected. It's annoying to select the Headset everytime I connect it.

Any ideas?

Thank you for sharing the link.

Somehow this can't be true. In MX21 I just had to connect the Headphones and the sound was played on them.

Now I have to manually set the output to the headphones.

Seems like a great stept forward to me :-(

My Logitech-Equipment is properly recognized in MX21, to which I switched back.

I also found that annoying, but the switching works automatically on our KDE Edition.

You can install indicator-sound-switcher to make manual switching less annoying on XFCE:

Code: Select all

$ apt show indicator-sound-switcher

It shows an icon in the indicator area or the system tray (whatever is
available in your desktop environment). The icon's menu allows you to switch
the current sound input and output (i.e. source and sink ports in
PulseAudio's terms, respectively) with just two clicks.
