MX-Comfort tool...
As far as I remember MX-Comfort tool does not change the accent color in the gtk-theme (e.g. gtk menu higlights), you can change only panel and fluxbox styles.
But maybe it was an interesting idea to change the color with a similar script that creates a proper gtk.css file in the ~/.config/gtk-3.0 directory.

Ah, that's what you meant.
Yep, MX-Comfort tool doesn't touch gtk themes. I did play around a while ago with globally editing the highlight colour in the mx-comfort gtk-theme, hope I still have the sed script somewhere. Anyway, I got stuck with Thunar, because that needed additional css settings for drop down menus, side panel etc. and I never got checkboxes or radio buttons to change colour and then got distracted with MX23 stuff. Something to dig out again one rainy day...
<this doesn't really belong here, will move later)
Speaking of rainy day items: I think we need a small yad named "MXFB-screensaver" that will make it easier and more obvious for the user to control:
1) adjust the delay before the screen blanks
--> sed on the startup entry to change number of seconds
2) temporarily turn off blanking (for watching a video/movie, conference, etc.)
--> xset s off -dpms
--> log out/in to restore
3) permanently turn off blanking
--> sed to comment out the startup entry
I suspect it would eventually (next point release?) go to Settings > Display > Screensaver
Production: 5.10, MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin
If anyone wants to try it out now, you just need to save the following config under ~/.config/MX-Linux/exit-options/adwaita_exit-options.conf
and then select the theme with exit-options-manager (right click on logout icon in panel to open manager)
Created a horizontal conky and moved the tint2 toolbar below it. Changed the MX logo for the rofi app finder to a fluxbox logo I found here (http://www.fluxbox.org/files/propaganda/).
Added icons to my menus this time around using the <'icon'> variable (except for the System sub menu which gets over written after updates).
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

New release. New desktop.
