@AVLinux thanks, glad you like it.
Pretty much just based on stuff from the default install; style is just recolored MX-Comfort, panel is a reworking of the mx-workspaces tint2. Only new things are the close-active button and the wallpaper.

In case someone's interested, the Materia theme can be installed directly from MXPI,

Materia is a very nice theme, sadly discontinued and as I recall it behaves badly with certain apps on occasion (I think I had menu issues with Ardour a while back) I'm sure something that could be fixed in CSS but I didn't dig that deep. Materia and Arc are two 'greatest hits' GTK themes, maybe somebody will fork and continue them if they haven't already...

I am really liking the Materia gtk theme at the moment, so took that as inspiration for a flat look.

It looks nice, fresh and modern.
In spite of that I still prefer dark themes or a little bit darker grey themes for my everyday work. I think it will be great having the accent color alternatives for MX-Comfort and MX-Comfort dark in the MX-repo in the future.

I'm the opposite. While dark themes can look great I find them too visually oppressive to use for any length of time.

So Great.

If story. This is MX LINUX 23 "Libretto" Final.
I think the world was excited, saying, "This is epoch-making!"

But MX-23 UI-theme is also similar with MX-21 or MX-19 style.
I Think MX-25 needs refresh to modern UI-theme...
That's my(our) next goal.

MX forums have all kinds of cool UI-themes.
We need to consider which is the most 'elegant and efficient'.
It's also important to unify wallpaper and UI-themes, like Melber's flavor.

PS. If Dev team held "UI-theme competition for MX-25" in long term,
Submission and selection will be heated.
(I want to see the strongest UI theme that survived at the end.)
In the world filled desire,
I seek only essence, serve for MX.
I just needing only ideal in the art at all.
I want to protect place of rest called MX LINUX. :coffee:

I think I'm really boringly conservative.
I do try out new themes, but like a boomerang I always end up with similar, dark ones. I find it impressive how some themes are pimped here, for me it's mostly round corners, if not already there, and resizing the fonts to fit my monitors/eyes. I also can't really distinguish between "modern" and "old-fashioned", these are subjective terms of personal perception, without relevance for me.

Most of my "pimp me up" is under the bonnet, keys, submenus, scripts, it's all about my comfort and 80% of what you can see are my attempts to create attractive wallpapers for dual monitor operationSometimes the Tint2 panel is on suto hide, sometimes not, sometimes a second panel is visible as a fake icon bar, sometimes not ...etc..
Executors, funny, makes no sense to my eyes, I prefer conky when I want to look at workloads and technical values.
And usually the result is fluxbox images like this one, which always resemble each other over the years.

For me conky is only a nice looking toy and executors are useful tools in a large variety of situations. When I commit some problems, I'd like to solve, for example I'd like to decrease the resources-consumption while playing YouTube videos by changing the browser settings, I need to have executors on the panel that don't hide under maximized windows. I don't have any idea, how conky could replace the executors.

Different hardware: Konky is on my secondary monitor, examinations of any kind take place on the primary monitor. Conky is therefore not covered up on my monitor.
Everything that fits into a bar, I still know from xfce, is too small for my eyesight! I have over 6 diopters and my astigmatism is also in the uncorrectable range (in other words, I live in a world of ellipses, because there are no circles) So everyone has what they need... and for me, exacutors are not one of the things that I could need.

Not really, just a different approach. Your focus is taking and presenting great photos, I'm more into fiddling config files to complement an abstracted graphic image. Both are valid ways of doing a desktop.

Circles are just ellipses with no imagination...
