Massively Impressed by MX-23

#1 Post by Nanook »

I've just installed mx-23 and I've got to say I am massively impressed by the improvements that have been made since I last installed MX-12.

What used to be a somewhat sparse environment is now rich and very well organized, not a native user of XFCE, mostly a gnome/mate user, yet, I had ZERO problems finding everything I needed to find.

KUDOS to the development team, EXTREMELY WELL DONE. This OS is definitely under appreciated. I've been using Ubuntu as my workstation OS for years, but this is enough incentive to switch, Ubuntu has become buggy as hell with major things being converted to snaps, and this I've never had a newly installed OS run so clean out of the box, and I'm impressed by how close to the Debian Bookworm release date this came out, yet so much richer. WOW.

Another thumbs up. It's been Distrowatch number 1 rank for a very long time. Average number of hits per day (HPD)

I totally agree. I've done a BUNCH of distro hopping lately and in MX-23 I've finally found something the really "floats my boat". This is truly as great release. Congrats to the developers that made this happen.

20 is good nice speed. I used to copy about 60 WPM when I did it 8 hours a day :) I average about 30 now. But still enjoy CW /HF.
