First screenshot after everything is installed.
There were losses:
skippy-xd no longer runs for me.
sct is also not in any bookworm repo, but the *.deb from Bullseye can be installed with gdebi without any problems and works as it should.
I only used the list from user-installed-packages as a reminder, because there were a few programmes I didn't want to install anymore, too many programmes I only tested. The current list is more "compact

Otherwise, everything easy, no problems

With the appropriate configuration and the fairly recent liquorix kernel from the mxpi, the ram requirement after boot is around 300gb. this is only a few MB more than what the liquorix kernel required under Bullsey, for me no indication that the new version requires more ram.
This may be true for the mainstream lts kernel, which is not interesting for fans of wild optimisation ;-}

MX 23 Fluxbox with modified MX-Debian OSX "3-dots style" WM theme, modified date/time conky, and "text-only" compact neofetch.

My first mx23 fluxbox screenshot from the desktop computer with 2 monitors.
The only modifications to the Thmes: font size and rounded corners for the menu.
Wallpaper, as always from my own stock

@wdscharff Your screen resolution 6400x2160 ... so jealous now.
Great looking desktop, I like your background picture and colors too. Are you using picom compositor for the rounded corners and shading?

rounded corners in the fluxbox menu via setting in the Bluenight.cfg, everything else, i.e. rounded shadows, different brightness depending on whether the window has the focus via Compton...
I had tried Picom, but it didn't bring me any added value except for a significantly higher resource consumption, so I stayed with compton.
they are just little gimmicks to make the desktop look a bit more modern :-)

adendum: no reason for envy. the screen resolution is a virtual one. in reality, it is only 1440px high on the right side, where conky starts, i.e. the height of the conky approximately. below that, the monitor stops, but the graphics card needs a rectangle for its virtual screen.
if i take a separate image for each monitor, you can clearly see that this area is either filled from the image buffer with the rest of the previous wallpaper, or just pixel mud, pink noise in jpg.
