#1 Post by Boxy »

Hi,
In MX 18.3 Xfce, why there are 2 instances of Catfish in the Whisker menu :
one with the simple commande catfish
other with full path and catfish %f
What the differences ?
Thank you for your précisions.

Support for MX-18 ended over a year ago, and you should consider installing MX-23 instead.

I can't answer your question as to how you have two versions of Catfish in the menu, but if it bothers you, use the menu editor to hide one of the entries.

%f: This parameter signifies that the program can take a single file as an argument.

The one that ends %f is what would have come with MX.
