What has happened to the LA mirror?

#1 Post by duane »

Since yesterday I get an error. Can't connect or something like that.
I had to switch mirror in order to update.

I had to switch mirror in order to update.

I have heard that a few people have had trouble connecting, but it seems to be working fine for me this am - and I have not seen any issue with it
*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

I just switched to the la mirror and updated just fine.
I see the firewall was busier than usual on that server yesterday. Yesterday's issue was probably net congestion aggravated by getting hit with some random probing.
If you put a web server up, it will be probed for weaknesses and sometimes get slowed by those probes.
HP Pavillion TP01, AMD Ryzen 3 5300G (quad core), Crucial 500GB SSD, Toshiba 6TB 7200rpm
Dell Inspiron 15, AMD Ryzen 7 2700u (quad core). Sabrent 500GB nvme, Seagate 1TB
