MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
I've been using MildBlue for the last two weeks on mxfb-23 beta2 and have not seen this issue.
The conky code was copied from tangram, the only changes that I knowingly made were the colours and a few small offset adjustments.

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
I have been doing the same, with same results.
I may have installed it directly from a post, so maybe something got changed when it went into GitHub...it's been known to happen.

Unfortunately, I can't test Conky for this problem as literally all three of my computers are running full Nvidia hardware. lol

It’s fine launching from the conky manager but not on fresh iso startupMelber wrote: Sat Jul 01, 2023 10:01 am I've been using MildBlue for the last two weeks on mxfb-23 beta2 and have not seen this issue.

Launches fine for me at boot. The only change I see in the text section is at line 118. (tangram on the left--mildblue on the right)

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

I have several intel only test machines, both currently on mx23 and will check this a little later today.m_pav wrote: Sat Jul 01, 2023 12:39 am Something a little funky going on with the default conky. On startup, Live and installed on 2 machines with Intel Graphics, the minutes are missing altogether but the rest of it is there. Images are from the Celeron based NUC, but identical issue on both machines. The issue prevails whether I boot the machines with Modesetting or Intel Drivers using MX Tweak between boots. I can get the minutes to display on the Laptop by opening MX Conky Manager and selecting another conky to display simultaneously, then uncheck it so only Cowon-midblue remains, but on the NUC, it's a more hit and miss.
Can anybody else replicate this?

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
When saving a screenshot of the desktop, the "Save Screenshot As..." window extends off the bottom of the screen so you can not see the "Cancel" or "Save" buttons. I have to grab the top edge of the window and drag it down, then grab the title bar and drag the window up until the buttons are visible. Seems to happen the first time you go to save a screenshot, subsequent "Save Screenshot As.." windows display as adjusted the first time.

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Hi-
MX-23 Beta Live USB Persistence made from installed, configured snapshot:
"Wi-fi network connection" in Systray Icons - piling up.
Because I never saw this before (and don't usually use Live with Persistence), I don't know if this is a new normal or a glitch.
Please ignore this post if this is supposed to be happening.
Thank you.
