Thanks for the reply.dolphin_oracle wrote: Tue Jun 27, 2023 5:43 pmswap out the default clock plugin for the deprecated but still present datetime plugin.8bit wrote: Tue Jun 27, 2023 5:22 pm Hope this is posted in the correct place.
In 23B2 when one clicks on the clock a separate window opens which must be manually closed. In 21.x the same click opened a pop-out that closed with another click. Can and how do I get 23b2 to act like 21.x
PS I've tried all the settings I could find before asking.
Thanks for your time.
Al
After further testing, the clock plugin can be set to act like the deprecated datetime plugin of 21.x by leaving the Calendar - Command field blank.

8bit

The manual shows a space between the names.
Code: Select all
session.screen0.workspaceNames: <names>
Here is where the user can name their workspaces. However it is
recommended to use the tool available in the Configuration Menu to set
these. Default: one, two, three, four
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.

yes, the manual, siamhie, indicates spaces. That is why i write to You about not spaces. and i will ask again, siamhie, Have You tried what it does with one or many spaces after a comma? and it ends with a comma. the man does not mention that end with comma.

2 questions
1) Has the issue with the startup logo covering an encrypted password prompt been fixed? I haven't read of it or I may have missed it.
2) where can I find the documentation or thread that shows how to re-use an encrypted /home with our installer? I've tried for the last 30 mins and just got a headache. I'm sure Ive seen it somewhere.

for two, open the encrypted home partition BEFORE starting the installer. it will then show up in the custom layout. it will be preserved. also, you'll need to right-click the real partition and select "Add to Crypttab" or else it won't be opened up at boot.m_pav wrote: Wed Jun 28, 2023 7:45 pm 2 questions
