@fehlix I mean that the solution to/instructions on how to actually disable os_prober in MX23 has to be properly documented, since we are removing the default Debian12 behaviour. Some users (obviously not just me) actually want the new default behaviour.

mx-installer 23.6.06
The systemd failure to load that i had [23.6.05]
is consistent with installations done with the --oem switch.
sysV can also not work with oem install. [23.6.06]

installations without the oem switch work just fine.

Hi:
I have installed MX23 Fluxbox_beta2_386, and in the 1st update I see some "Broken pipe" (Tubería rota) errors in the module update "rtl8812**-dkms", which I attach with the .log of the "apt/term.log.

As I had problems on my PC with kernel 6.0 and now on 6.1, (viewtopic.php?p=730972#p730972) I'm not sure if it's a beta2 issue or something related to those modules in particular...

its an issue in the dkms script, and I'm not sure why its a problem for some dkms packages and not others, but its a failure on a sanity check checking for the existene of something before proceeding. in almost all cases, that something exists, sot he check doesn't even really do anything.

its an issue in the dkms script, and I'm not sure why its a problem for some dkms packages and not others, but its a failure on a sanity check checking for the existene of something before proceeding. in almost all cases, that something exists, sot he check doesn't even really do anything.

Make sure you clone that github code and build it.
Then you remove the driver from the kernels you are using, and install it again using the name showed on that cli command.

Quick System Info appears to have broken for me.
