MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Will it update MX-23 “Libretto” beta 2 to stable version?
Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Very likely, but better to start with the RC

It fixed MX-23 not booting (for me, anyway).

I'm sure the MX patch was added to this version. 1.0.91 didn't have it.
*edit
@BV206 Installed Ventoy 1.0.93 on my thumb drive and copied over my MX-23 fluxbox beta 2 ISO and it booted up without any errors.![]()
Code: Select all

You can view the live-log on screen with disabled splasht-screen or with [Alt]+F1 on VT1
or on live booted either on command line with colors
Code: Select all

or just using "Quick System Info" tool:

Will do @fehlix when RC rolls out. In the mean time, ISO's seem to boot without the antiX error message.

Dear Developers,
mx-packageinstaller-pkglist (in /usr/share/mx-packageinstaller-pkglist ) does not reflect mx-packageinstaller-description which has been translated at Transifex.
As a result, descriptions are still indicated in default English. See the attached image for reference.
Best regards,

kde systemd runaway unusable; systemd is not sleeping;
my guess is that it is looking for something in the Actions category, because
The shutdown buttons are not present in the Menu nor are the shutdown buttons active in sddm.
kde initV is fine.
jasalt mentioned running kde on systemd; is that okay?
kc1di and Jamey and darknetmatrix testing kde on systemd?

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Thanks Jerry! I was wondering. I usually install from rc1 and all is well but for some reason i was wondering about the beta path.
Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Hello,
I continue with the same problem, I keep getting the same 'Fatal Error'.
I downloaded and extracted the new Ventoy:
https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy/releases
I copy snapshot via 'send' in the file manager, to the Ventoy ...
I configure the Bios ... reboot, MX-23 appears in Ventoy, click ... I start to open it and it gives the same error as before. (?)

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
I tried installing MX 21.3 on some old machine (dual core from 2008??) from network through PXE.
I had similar error like the VENTOY ones.
Don't know if it's the PXE firmware version...
I managed to boot from PE based disk management like AOMEI and MACRIUM though...
