@fehlix What's about MX Respins? Will they do not also overwrite the existing MX23 directory on EFI and NVRAM? Or can there be a better way?fehlix wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2023 5:54 pmThat's Ubuntu and secure-boot related issue, as all those ubuntu-flavors use just one efi-loader entry.peter_li wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2023 4:26 pm But what to do when there is only one time Ubuntu shown in the UEFI Boot but there are three partitions: Ubuntu-Mate, Xubuntu and Pinguy egg created Ubuntu? This seems a bit complicated.
That's actually similar what Debian is now doing, so if you have to install two debian installations, you would only find one EFI-loader. One way to solve it, use for every such install a separate ESP.

MX-23 fluxbox-beta2
Neofetch doesn't show DE or Packages information.
From my neofetch config.conf file.
I booted up the fluxbox-beta2 live ISO and DE shows but Packages doesn't. Tested it also with the MX-23 XFCE-beta2 live ISO with same results, DE shows but Packages doesn't.

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
Well you don't have a DE installed, right? But you do have a WM, which is correctly identified as Fluxbox. Don't know what "Packages" is supposed to show ()number?), but I don't even have it listed as a category.
Why isn't this a neofetch problem?

Hello,
I don't know if this is the right forum.
Anyway, I install the latest beta version of mx-23, I update it.
Some problems ...
Chromium as browser, I always uninstall firefox. In chromium I install Startpage, the default is Duckduckgo, I don't like it, it's inferior in the quality of the searches -- once the browser was configured, duckduckgo disappeared and Odysee appeared as default browser. (?)
The internet connection says Eth0 (?)
Can't do anything on the system now, it has lost connection to the internet. I'm posting here from MX-21.
As it is a Beta I would like to know if this is normal due to the instability of the system.
Thanks

@Jerry3904 I booted up several live ISO's with these results.
MX-23-Fluxbox-beta2-live-iso (DE listed just not Packages)
MX-21.3-XFCE-June_snapshot (DE listed just not Packages)
Debian12-XFCE-live-iso (DE and Packages listed)
I'm going to download MX-23-XFCE-beta2 live ISO and also boot my MX-21.3 fluxbox snapshot in the mean time to compare notes.
