Is the firewall going to be enabled by default for fluxbox? I spent an hour and three different versions of emby server trying to get my Roku devices to connect to my computer only to find out the firewall was enabled. (wasn't like that for alpha2 or all versions of 21)


Changing mouse cursors. I installed the oxygen cursor set but couldn't change the cursors from Appearance>Theme and Customize Look and Feel is missing from All Apps>Settings.
I changed it from the terminal but the mouse cursor changes back to DMX-Black when using my browser.

for now firewall is enabled by default on all versions of MX as of beta1.

MXFB-Font does not work well. Selecting font for GTK does not work at all, for Fluxbox it is impossible to change the font to any non-regular style (bold, italic etc.) Are you sure this is the last version of the script from pre-Beta? (BTW - The "about" button with some information about the version of the app will be helpful.)

Looks like the last version didn't make it into the beta - have to wait for the next update of mxfb-accessories.

Fluxbox: we've lost the MX-Comfort theme as default for the monitors (gkrellm) again. Don't think I changed anything, but I'll go back and look.

Yep, noticed this too.

The first line of ~/.gkrellm/theme_config should be just

MX-comfort-dark

instead of the current

Code: Select all

$HOME/.gkrellm2/themes/MX-comfort

for now firewall is enabled by default on all versions of MX as of beta1.

@dolphin_oracle Thanks. I'll take a closer look at it and see if it will allow connections based applications.
