@dolphin_oracle It not a custom font. It comes preinstalled with XFCE I suppose (fonts-monofur). With fluxbox, I have to install it. I went and rebuilt the cache but it still doesn't work. It does work as my default for in fluxbox.
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

its in the bookworm repo and should come down via regular updates. this is a feature of the xfce notification daemon.

also added a switch for having percentages on "gauge-style" notifications. mostly volume and backlight control

the new strings are not on transifex yet, in case someone wants to suggest modifications

@dolphin_oracle I tested the other two terminal fonts available in the repo, fonts-inconsolata and fonts-glasstty, thinking it might be terminal font issue but they both work showing the password field characters. Just fonts-monofur doesn't work.

Can't reproduce. Hence the question: Is it the same with all authentication pop-window or only for MX-applications.
E.g. Simple test for system provided authentication run in terminal

Code: Select all

pkexec true

@fehlix You can see here that I've typed in my 8 character password but the characters doesn't show up.

HEIF/HEIC images can't be viewed. (Needs heif-gdk-pixbuf, gdk-pixbuf loader and heif-thumbnailer to be installed.)

Had 10 updates this morning including a kernel. This message popped up at the end. I use an Intel card but what about those with the rtl8821ce driver?
