Did find something on drivetemp (https://forum.manjaro.org/t/hddtemp-vs- ... mp/58648/2) that I have to see if this works on my SSD drives, but I guess that is for a different topic, and I am tired of fiddling with the alpha today.

Unless we want to do somet... well we.. you guys.. ;) something like you did with disk manager.
Not really on the alpha2, but I wanted to give a short followup:

Code: Select all

sudo modprobe drivetemp
Running "sensors" now shows my SSDs.

xterm always gets installed along with nordvpn for me. ...Why nord relies on xterm for the login instead of the users default terminal is beyond me.

Good that it's now been made a 'dependency' in fehlix's nordvpn install-scripts. I have not installed a fresh nordvpn on MX for quite some time.

I made a personal snapshot of my PC install of MX23a2 - check. Even using the least compression, it took 25 mins on my 8-9 years old PC.

Made a full-featured live USB with MX23a2's live USB maker - check

Ran the USB live on my laptop - ok, but when entering the Wifi password, I encountered the same problem as the member in the post below:
https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php ... 25#p720025

Installed the personal snapshot on my UEFI-boot laptop, so the bootloader went into the EFI partition (unlike on the MBR-boot PC, where I installed bootloader in PBR) -- check.

Went well, except that for my personal use I had disabled os_prober in grub and I didn't want MX23's bootloader to be ranked first in the EFI partition, but it didn't give me any choice. So when I rebooted I got the MX23 boot menu without any other distro menu entry. No worries, that's just me being particular and I sorted out the boot order in BIOS.
