While looking through my syslog, I came across this error.

Code: Select all

2023-04-09T06:37:16.418799-07:00 mx23-alpha lightdm[1347]: feh WARNING: /usr/share/backgrounds/MX_Tangram.png does not exist - skipping

Sure enough, the file is not there so I copied over the file from my Fluxbox install and now I get the GTK Greeter image prior to my desktop loading.
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

I just had the same permission error when installing my Emby Server deb file but the program works. Hmm?
Indeed, I saw this just now that the nuvola icons got installed. Color me confused.
It’s normal and not an error. It’s informational.

Testing on a Dell Latitude E7450 (*laptop*)

So far, the only bug that I have found; is that the startup sounds, just don't work by default when you enable them...

*Edit one was to add the (probably pointless) image
*Edit two testing hardware

Really? Haven't seen that yet.

Then again... I don't go about installing packages that often ;) Once installed, it's done. Thanks for clearing that up.

Looks like the scanner authentication window thing is common to all scanner programs. I got the same thing with gscan2pdf, and this is after I had already installed the scanner driver. Very weird that password is required when you open a scanner app.

I'm not at home today and I'll be driving six hours today so I can't build a bookworm package until tomorrow. I can upload to the repo before or after the driving.
