Supposing you download Ventoy or any other programs like this which is just a folder with some other sub-folders with files and binaries.
Where exactly is the right place to put this directory structure with files and binaries in order to be able to be executed by the user and also by the root and also to be copied in the .iso file when do a MX Remaster copy of the entire system and/or any other backup solutions and also to not be deleted by mistake or by other programs or scripts you are gonna run on that PC?
Thank you in advance!

FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

If you do a lot of distro hopping, and you keep a /home partition between installs, than you might create a folder there, and keep those packages.
