hello everyone
Screenshotting
Screenshoting.
scrEnhots.
Thank you for all posts, Screenshots_.
At a time we early posted betamx21 desktop captures and refrain disclosing anything as official while describing the images as 21, when having no idea that the Topic Title later was changed by a moderator, to become the official MX21 Screenshots. Thank you for postings.
I like browser or many of the image viewers in the repository.
Check browser that is often the image view a recipient will see.
Which image viewer are you using?

Tried imv image viewer; surprisingly it works.
Trying pineapple pictures image viewer; straightforward; two settings; one setting to toggle maximize. A stay on top setting will be off for general use, but for purpose of this confirmation view and kill The on top setting On is a fit.
Let's take screenshots.
MX21
pineapple pictures pops window view is shown in this
screen capture confirmation by view in pop-window
Desktop capture ppic view of the Desktop capture and view in ppic called by
command shown in the image.

Code: Select all

#scrot --quality 97 -d 2 `date +%Y%j%R%S`.jpg -e 'ppic $f' &sleep 7;killall ppic &Done

#scrot --quality 97 -d 2 `date +%Y%j%R%S`.jpg -e 'mx-viewer -f ~/$f' &sleep 6;killall mx-viewer &Done
#scrot --quality 97 -d 2 `date +%Y%j%R%S`.jpg -e 'mx-viewer ~/$f' &sleep 7;killall mx-viewer &Done
## mx-viewer is a file: browser too.
Do you have one extra image viewer?
Try Show view feh, gthumb, display, lodraw, lximage-qt, mirage, mx-viewer, nomacs, ppic, pqiv, qpdfview, viewnior, x-www-browser, more.
Having keep sufficient image viewers that one viewer can be set aside for view and kill all
If After adopting ppic often general use, we will not want to kill the ppic windows. Remove timed kill Adds a click to Close, ppic, the viewer. if you can keep that within your tolerance of adding more clicks. or choose your extra viewer suited allowing acceptable all-killable situation.
The Included command provides timed view confirms screencapture just taken, with the delayed kill for a chosen viewer replacing ppic
Shared here,
Because Please show, How can you fix proper the &Done cheat at its ending?

hello everyone
Seen Posted in MX Fluxbox Screenshots
The showing of gkrellm Clear, invisible theme transparent is quite nice.

Showing default with added
gkrellm monitor plugins
gkleds
numLock, capsLock status

GkrellShoot
The word "Shoot" is a screenshot screencapture utility!
Take Screenshots.

Where is gkrellm?
There's gkrellm. against conky.
The Uptime button can launch exit-options.

<did you mean to post this in the MXFB screenshots forum?>

I don't display uptime, since it doesn't give me any useful info. But the idea of using it to display a power menu is interesting. Also I have gkrellshoot installed but never think to use it...

Looks good.

My preference will be to have just the desktop logo, no words. And maybe have even its presence optional b/c I enjoy a beautiful wallpaper without interference. My current one on MX Fluxbox, for instance, is a picture I took in Corsica of a mountain stream in flood, with panel and monitors hidden.

good. It's a relief to see such a simple, undesigned landscape.

I've only taken photos with strong design intentions,
but recently I've been thinking about reconsidering that policy.

You will probably laugh, but I consider this almost Daoist in feeling: the power lies in the empty center.

I'm not laughing. Just you are right.

"Softness often beats matchoism" is a Japanese proverb.
Busy modern people tend to forget it, me too...

By the way, "Force (Star Wars)" can not be reached by matchoism too?
