photoprint
photoprint
I'm looking for, or a program like, photoprint https://www.blackfiveservices.co.uk/photoprint.shtml... Apparently, it is no longer maintained, and\thus I cannot find it in the MX Linux repositories, but it was a nice utility... Any info will be appreciated, thanks...
Re: photoprint
Personally, I use nomacs which is available through MX Package Installer (MXPI). It might be overkill, for your needs, but it works very well.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;
In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

there are image viewers and image editors. not sure how well they will work with mx linu. https://www.bodhilinux.com/a/ have alook see.
if i can remeber more possibilities i will post back.

*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

Re: photoprint
Thanks for the response... But if you look at photoprint, it is a utility that allows you to drag photos/pictures into a set of frames on a page; and, then, allows you to print the page (like an album page) of the pictures. That is all it does.
Re: photoprint
So... I guess my question is: does anybody know of a program/utility that would allow me to print photo album pages? I have, in the meantime, set up a template in Scribus that allows me to place multiple photos on a page, so that I can print the page. But it's kind of a clunky way of doing things. I hope there is something better/easier. Thanks again...
Re: photoprint
photoprint was in the M19 test repo. Maybe it works in MX21 or can be "tweaked"?

Re: photoprint
Thanks timkb4cq... I'm glad to get photoprint. I really like the utility. I had no idea it was so old. It should be updated/maintained. Anyone who has not tried it, should. Thanks all...
