12th gen Framework laptop

#1 Post by WarhawkCZ »

I have recently switched to 12th gen Framework laptop and I am happy with it. I am wondering if anyone from the MX Linux community has been using it with the said distribution? For the moment I run W11.
This is a linux-friendly laptop but still with very new HW components.

Thanks for any feedback.

@manyroads Thanks for the confirmation. I was not sure if AHS is ready for the 12th gen. Did you update to the latest kernel or you use it as is out of the box?
@Adrian For some reason I was not even thinking about the live distro. I'll do so!

In all cases 6.0 (for today) will be better as 5.16, .17, .18, .19 have all reached EOL. (April to October).

FWIW I'm running 6.0.0-6 of the kernel. I have found that Liquorix is generally unstable on my i5 (actually has always been unstable on any generation of i5; I always run those. I have no idea why.)

Well that's odd. I have an I-5 Acer, and Liquorix kernels work fine on that. Go figure.
