Kernel updated to 6.0.0-6mx-amd64

#1 Post by ph3arr3t »

First off I've been waiting for this kernel update for a few months now, thanks for making it available before years end.
on the previous kernel I had GPU recognized and configured to be used instead of using the onboard iGPU
so now every program I had to run using optirun now stalls. So I suspect since the kernel update the system is sort of returned to stock install, my question then is do I have to re-install all the video drivers even though they are installed? Or hopefully there is a quicker way to re-enable the nvidia video. Also now getting error in conky about nvidia-smi failed.

probably do need to reinstall the nvidia drivers. your quick-system-info indicates no driver loaded. I would have thought the drivers would automatically rebuild when you installed the new kernel though.
