No audio output on blue tooth - MX LINUX 21 xfce ahs

#1 Post by addy »

Hi All,
Downloaded Mx 21 and loving the layout, however tried to listen using my headphones but no audio output even though the bluetooth appears to be connected. Any advice would be helpful. Using an OMEN 017 laptop

with my headset, I need to make sure I have the correct audio profile in use. its selectable via a right click menu on audio devices in blueman.

Thanks Dolphin-oracle,
Yes i have set all the bluetooth settings as far as i know in blueman, as i said above it connects to the headset (sony) and will pause a music video if i play it but no sound. i have confirmed it will connect to another device by bluetooth and plays okay? Need to dig deeper

If you right-click on the volume taskbar icon and open the mixer, can you hit the mixer's output devices tab, then see if any of the devices can switch to the bluetooth device output?
