papirus icon
papirus icon
This package (papirus-icon-theme) takes an immense time to upgrade. Even on SSD. And it is inconsequential. How can I most easily avoid it being marked for an upgrade ?
Re: papirus icon
I did a strace and the system is reading (unpacking?) thousands upon thousands of file access requests
Re: papirus icon
Unfortunately that comes from this icon set being very, very comprehensive.
To stop it upgrading, open the terminal and run this command:
sudo apt-mark hold [name of the papirus package]
https://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/tr ... ark.8.html
Pls check the package name in Synaptic/MXPI yourself to be sure. I'm in MX19 right now and can't confirm the package name stays the same in MX21.
