mx 21.2.1 installed but wont boot without the usb

i installed mx 21 however when i go to boot outside the usb i get a black screen. im brand new to the world and really need a walk through on how to correct this so i can use it regularly. so far love it just trying to become more familiar! thanks for the help!

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Where and how did you install MX? As the only OS on the drive? Or did you customize partitions? Are you multi-booting?

I see one hard drive listed in your QSI. The other drive is a removable.

What device did you install to?
Is there an UEFI partition?

If you run MX Boot Repair and select ESP (UEFI mode) it will ask you to verify the root drive and the UEFI partition.

Let us know more.
