Laptop Won't Suspend (Requires Authorization?)

#1 Post by linuxuzer »

I installed MX on a Thinkpad T470 (system info below) and it doesn't want to go into suspend. When waking it up past the suspend time, I get following the message along with the password dialog box:
Authentication is required to suspend the system

An application is attempting to perform an action that requires privileges. Authentication as the super user is required to perform this action.
Is there some permission I have to change to get it to go into suspend?
