Good catch !

Though not exactly the same, this was X541UV with the same card (though it also had an Nvidia as the 2nd one)
Intel HD Graphics 510 ... chip-ID: 8086:1906
... With a similar cpu (just, core i3 vs i5 , all the rest is the same):
Dual Core model: Intel Core i5-6198DU bits: 64 type: MT MCP arch: Skylake
family: 6 model-id: 4E (78) stepping: 3 microcode: EC cache: L2: 3 MiB

Ok thanks. i do it but do not understand wrong. you all are here the best!
Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
In the meantime, you have a tiny typo here:
Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
Erhan, if that sounds confusing, you can even do this at once:
( "MX Boot Options" from Menu, paste into "Kernel Parameters" box (with a space before it) , "Apply", Reboot)
Code: Select all
pci=nommconf,nomsi,noaer pcie_aspm=off
Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
is everything ok? see attachment.Huckleberry Finn wrote: Sun Aug 28, 2022 12:29 pm Erhan, if that sounds confusing, you can even do this at once:

app starting and using are normal fast. is ok.
the grafik is only in low resolution. can i fix it to anyway?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
Yep. That's it.
So, it sounds like the boot time is also better.
As for the resolution: Can you post the current quick system info from menu?
Just directly "paste" into your post.
In the meantime, the one in the link was ok with 5.10 kernel and "modesetting" : 1366x768
P.S. You can use the same parameters on live session, too, also with antiX. ( At least this one pcie_aspm=off )

Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
Though you didn't use nomodeset , the drivers were not loaded: driver: N/A
therefore it looks 800x600
therefore it looks 800x600
Code: Select all
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

or what can i do?
Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
No, no, that one is just to use temporarily on live session (and when only you "have to" .. to disable the real drivers).
Apply the above command, also:
Reboot.
Apply the above command, also:
Code: Select all
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/*intel.conf
