i told you last time. that i have boot with systemD. with and without UEFI. it is more slow than without systemD.

Erhan, if you can do it, you just need a tiny screwdriver. Also no harm, no matter it's ok with other distros etc. Just take them out, then put back. (If it's removable: don't forget to take the battery out first .)

In the instance of the Asus X541UAK, I think that I would recommend that he pay a technician to do it as it's not not for the faint of heart. See here:

HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Thanks. Frankly, it hadn't occurred to me to check the prior thread.

i am not thinking that is a RAM Problem. Wyh? Because EndeavourOS_Artemis_neo_22_7 and Manjaro-ARM-xfce-generic-22.08 is working fine. both distrobutions are not slow. they are normal fast. only Debian Distros are very slow. i every case. i dont know why. we testet many thinks.

The problem is hardware and it is unique to the Asus X541U, X541UA,and X541UAK models. Further research shows that while Arch and Arch based distros like Manjaro and Endeavour OS will install and run without issue, Debian and Debian based distros and Ubuntu based distros will not run properly without intervention. For an explanation read this first:

https://techfocusalexn.wordpress.com/20 ... us-laptop/

and then read this:

https://askubuntu.com/questions/771899/ ... -corrected

The problem with applying kernel parameters like:

Code: Select all

pci=nomsi
and

Code: Select all

pci=noerr
is that while the immediate problem may seem solved, there is no telling what other sub-systems these parameters have hobbled. My advice to you is to pick the Arch based distro you like the best and run with it.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.
