@sisqonrw
It's been really hot and humid in Germany this summer. If your home lacks air conditioning, this laptop could be malfunctioning due to overheating.

For a new install, it is probably better to download the latest MX-21.1_July_x64.iso snapshot.

To Whom It May Concern:
May I ask (if you don't mind of course) (as I think I have the right for this):
What's the difference of this thread ( 8 pages , 72 posts ) with this one ?
Any different parameters or just a repeat .. or .. ?
As I was accused of being confusing "again" .

Re: installed MX 2.1 MX-21.1_x64 so slow
I'm "confused" too because I'm still trying to figure out what "MX 2.1" means in the title of this thread. And if it means MX 21.1 then why would it be repeated immediately afterwards?
My OCD goes off the charts whenever I see it, this post making #74.

Folks, can we leave this thread with actual helpful posts instead of posting about wondering why someone did something. Thanks.

That is googleable, you don't need us for that. You know your board, add remove bios password in the search.

Enter your Bios with the password for the last time, then disable that, (save & exit). That's the only way. Even resetting Cmos (this or that way) may not remove that.

One of the last posts in the other thread was a request by fehlix that the OP start over. So the OP did as requested.Huckleberry Finn wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 9:23 am What's the difference of this thread ( 8 pages , 72 posts ) with this one ?
