I too use no desktop icons, dock or launchers on the panel--rofi and the static desktop menu give me fast access to programs.

Very nice work! I love the 'craft' in this forum section so many great ways to do things well and make it look nice at the same time..

A bit O.T... As far as 4K, I haven't made the leap personally yet but I've been creating and resizing Desktop wallpapers to 4K in my various projects for a couple of years now, I would suggest MX for future releases should stipulate 'official' wallpapers for the next full release include 4K resolution size as UHD is becoming much more common now.

I'd like to see what @asqwerth thinks about that.

How dense/high- definition is 4K exactly?

I have been thinking that we might need to up the default size of the official wallpapers for the next release, but to what size exactly, I don't know. What would be appropriate nowadays ? (I'm still on a relatively smallish screen).

Will appreciate some feedback/suggestions.

Doubt that! I'm near the end of preparing mxfb-look and mxrr for the next mxfb-goodies, about to move the strings to be translated.

I have looked at all the official Fluxbox wallpapers, and the picture quality is still viewable on my UHD Monitor.
Scaling from HD (1920x1080) to UHD is technically unproblematic, as it is a simple doubling.

@asqwerth UHD = 3840x2160, 4K is actually the name for media devices such as TVs and is a bit more than UHD, namely 4096*2160.
