I had to adjust the screen resolution and am still playing with audio, but crucially, the display and wireless networking worked out of the box. This means that any other issues can be solved directly.
Not recommended for "modern" web use.

Sound works via headphones but not onboard speakers. Wifi and display worked right out of the box. Runs hot, which has always been a problem with this model.
