MX Fluxbox Screenshots
Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
@ceeslans , no problem, happy to share.
Panel looks really good in your setup.
I'm generally unimaginative in naming panels, usually just give them the same name as the wallpaper I make them for. You can call it whatever you want, although bottom_melber is probably preferable to melber's bottom...

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Installed (and happily running) Connman as replacement for (gnome) network-manager.
Network-configuration and systray-icon-setting is done with 'cmst' --> although mostly only running cmst when needed, since 'connman' service is sufficient to establish internet connection at startup. This reduces memory consumption by roughly 25 Mb.
ps_mem.py command (as shown below in stjerm drop-down terminal) gives a good idea of used memory at startup (private+shared ram)

@ceeslans
Agree wrt Connman! Recent experiments with Enlightenment also introduced me to Connman, I am switching over all my builds as well, CMST is a very powerful UI and so nice to strip out all those chubby Gnome dependencies! 188Mb is very impressive!
Another beautiful Desktop, you seem to have no shortage of great ideas!
@siamhie
Very cool screenshot as well! It's giving me a touch of vertigo...

Experimenting with MXFB-Look theme-switcher. Named the theme after the script (and tint2 panel) creator

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
This desktop has been with me for a while -- very Zen IMO, especially since those are likely temple steps. I very much prefer gkrellm these days to conky, especially with this nice transparent skin that I found. Notice that I created a pulse icon in white for mx-updater (attached, in case anyone else is interested) to go with the panel theme--the green was just jarring.

Very nice, great setup!
Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
I don't know if it's really worth posting more MX/Fluxbox screenshots for me.
My Conky is 90% finished, but the next changes will be rather subtle, cosmetic surgery, the functionality is as I would like it.
Taskbar, will also hardly change.
Additional elements, like more Tint2 panels (as dock and/or fake icon) are short-lived and only active when I have visitors. So for their convenience, or as a demonstration of the possibilities.
(The screenshots of these also occasionally end up on FB to show that Fluxbox can also look nice ;-} )
What remains are the background images, sometimes with a separate one for each monitor, sometimes one that covers the whole width.
