Re: MX 17 Repository: Flameshot Thread
I'm curious, what does the Flameshot that's in the MX-21 repos have to do with the one in the MX-17 repos? MX-17/18 is Debian Stretch (oldoldstable), MX-21 is Bullseye (stable.) I'm pretty sure the versions of Flameshot in both aren't the same.

the answer is gtk2-engines is not a dependency. Flameshot is a qt application and the gtk2 theme plug-in for Qt generates that message. But in practice it’s harmless.

Re: MX 17 Repository: Flameshot Thread
I just built flameshot 12.0 packages for MX 19-21 test repos, by the way, and they should be there soon.
And I did not add gtk2-engines as a dependency. I don't remember older versions starting up with a cheerful little "Clippy"-like notification, "Hello, I'm here! Click the tray icon, blah blah", but maybe I forget.
