New month, new screeny...

Running 'ps_mem.py' to show memory consumption shortly after startup. Not "antiX" light, but I'm pretty pleased with such low memory usage on my MX Fluxbox system.
Current GTK2/3 theme is 'Crunchbang' - as is tint2 panel & fluxbox menu/window style; been running this combo for months now.. Popup recent-files list (and hidden places+application menu) with jgmenu.
Background image 'Gangster Monkey' available at various wallpaper sites

Yes. The icons will need to be in either xpm or png format. Edit the full_menu file under the submenus directory in your fluxbox folder.

The menu structure will look like this.

Code: Select all

[exec] (Firefox) {firefox} <'path to the firefox icon'>
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

There's no way to automatically populate the menu with icons? fbmenugen has the option but I'd like to stick with the built in MX tools.

Not that static menu, which is a Fluxbox menu that dates from 20 years ago. We provide by default 3 menus: this FB menu, rofi (logo key) and xfce4-appfinder. The last two have automatic icon population and continue to be developed.

That's unfortunate, but understandable. I'll probably switch to fbmenugen for that menu then.

In my opinion icons in FB-menu look almost always really poor (there are awful jaggies at the edges). So I have decided not to use any.

Agreed. I also like it without for its clean simple look.
