Finally, added logo.
Thanks for Feeback from Jerry3904, I fixed it.
I'll leave the rest to Mr.asqwerth.

I'm a proponent of small logos or none at all--though it finally depends on asqwerth.

In this case, I like the wallpaper very much but would never use it with all that in the corner--sorry!

I like the wavy ball landscapes, @Freja !

However, as of MX21, our new preference is not to have the logo affixed in a corner just for the sake of "labelling" the picture, though it is not a hard and fast rule. It might be that a pic looks better with the logo/name in the corner. In the case of MX-software though, I much prefer it without the logo.

In contrast, some artwork creatively uses the logo itself within the artwork (see @Auro Kumar Sahoo's lightbulb wallpaper, or @Melber's spotlight or @Amigo 's Tangram in the MX21 collection), and that is of course very much welcome.

Thank you everyone!

@asqwerth Oh I'm sorry, I misunderstood you as a man (until now)... sorry again.
By the way, While the name Freja is a female name,
but I'm almost a common man.
People tell me, "You have a female face."

(I just started using the handle name Freja
because it was somehow cool. I didn't even consider its gender.)

@Freja @asqwerth and all other MX Wallpaper artists

Not to derail this thread but I'm wondering in anticipation of the future Debian Bookworm based MX and the fact that (a) MX KDE is now well established, (b) GTK4 is here and will be in Bookworm, (c) 4K and ultrawide monitors are becoming cheaper and more commonplace.. Would it be a good idea to make 4K sizes in either 3840x2160px or 3840x2400px a requirement for submitted wallpapers? I would agree the filesize is a bit daunting but 4K only looks sharper and better when scaled down to smaller monitors whereas 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 scaled up to 4K can look pretty dismal.

I don't even have a 4K monitor myself yet but I can see using even two 1920x1200 monitors in a dual-head setup (3840x1200) the potential need for higher resolution. I would suggest folks designing new and original Wallpapers for future use should at least be using 4K resolutions in their original source projects to help future-proof them..

What do you think?

Yes, 4k I imagine is a very big improvement on 1080, but I'm not sure 4k monitors are widely used just yet? Maybe 2k is a good middle ground to aim for, for hardware compatibility for both viewing and creating wallpapers? I used a 2k monitor, 3508x2480/300dpi, uploaded reduced to e.g. 1280x719 for one of them, put through PostImage at under 1mb in size ... even this lower resolution upload is very useable as wallpaper; have to zoom in 25-50 percent to see edges begin to be smoothed.

If someone has the hardware to work at 4k, I'd think the image would need to be reduced a lot in resolution and size to go through the upload site and for forum posting. PostImage for example limits free users to 24Mb and 10kx10k pixels. My originals, at 2k, were 25mb+ png's, with large PSDs (50-130mb), despite just a background colour and a 2nd layer for the actual painting. I don't do image manipulation, but would imagine the image/PSD numbers could be even higher when grouping lots of images and applying effects etc.

Overall, I think tbh it's easier that anyone using a 4k monitor double up the resolution/size at their end, as working with, and uploading larger images/resolutions, can hit problems.
