Thank you very much for this excellent MX-Linux creation. This system combines the stability of Debian with the flexibility and speed of Puppy Linux. I found it so useful, that I created a USB Installation Image for the sake of my Open Source Project Users and uploaded it here : https://sourceforge.net/projects/custom ... e-for-usb/
Many of my open source projects, as listed on my profile page (https://sourceforge.net/u/nathan-sr/profile/) require a system, that has the capability to run well on older hardware too and MX-Linux meets these needs, perfectly. Thank you developers of MX-Linux.

Re: USB Installation Image for MX-Linux
I don't understand why you did this when MX Linux maintains its own download page, links, mirrors and torrents. Why not just point your users to our download page via a hyperlink?
Please read the Forum Rules, How To Ask For Help, How to Break Your System and Don't Break Debian. Always include your full Quick System Info (QSI) with each and every new help request.

Re: USB Installation Image for MX-Linux
I submitted this post under "Community Submissions" for the following reasons:
1. It is an USB Installed Image of the latest MX-Linux release
2. It requires an installation and an extraction effort for the USB image to be created perfectly
3. It also requires an verification effort, for which the MD5 sum is provided on the site
4. This image contains multiple Browsers (to resolve issues with firefox) and LibreOffice upgraded to 7.3 version
5. This image will be handy to those, who do not have enough time to do all the steps mentioned above
6. I also wanted to thank the developers for the mx-linux creation
Regards,
Nathan SR

Re: USB Installation Image for MX-Linux
Thank you for contributing to MX. It is cool to have people offering alternatives to the status quo.
1,2 and 3 are already MX ready from my point of view. 4 is so easy to do. 5 is a nice offering at an appliance and I can appreciate that. 6 is just a given.
