Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
@Amiga-MX That explains why I'm seeing blue butterflies
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
Polished up @tenner's fluxbox-style "camo2" [2008] and created matching top|bottom tint2 panels.
Dropdown jgmenu applications menu - and yad calendar, both triggered from tint2 buttons.
I prefer feh for setting wallpaper (instead of nitrogen). Screenshot showing the selection window created with 'feh-setbg' script.
Weather conky using accuweather services.

Isn't that just fine! Seems to me that Tenner must have been just a bit weird...

Hi ceeslans!
First... some kudos to @siamhie and @Amiga-MX for some nice work recently too..
Now back to you ceeslans..
To me that is what 'Linux' should look like... completely the opposite direction from big enterprise DE's... What you have there is unique, it's functional and it's efficient and it looks like something alternative and beautiful.. It's beauty isn't in gloss and empty effects. It's beauty is in it's synergy of craft and purpose. I am in awe of your talents and configuration skills. I really wish I had more dabbling time to dive deep into Flux/Tint world but I'm overextended already that's why this thread is so entertaining it's just as much about making the OS itself as it is about making things 'with' the OS..
All I know is my recent visit back to LXDE has reminded of the beauty of efficient simplicity that really made Linux beckon to me in the first place as a true alternative and something different, you folks down here are masters!!

Well, we owe it to you good sir! You've done a tremendous job... Lol XFCE4 should be looking over it's shoulder and quaking in it's boots!

Re: MX Fluxbox Screenshots
Haha not the developers of the XFCE4 version!! I meant MXFB is closing the gap on doing much of what XFCE4 as a D.E. in general does less and less efficiently with each release...

I had knitted myself a more pleasing display of the selection with feh and skippy-xd.
The problem with Feh, for me, is that in dual monitor mode I have to write the fehbg myself, so the nice display is of no use to me.
I can just use my file manager and its (really good) image preview in the background directory and then copy the paths into the fehbg.
looks like this:
feh --no-fehbg --bg-scale '/home/winnI/backgrounds/IMG_1611_5d2.jpg' '/home/winnI/backgrounds/14_dia100-0062_IMG_1280x845.jpg'

Multi monitor operation can Nitrogen better!
