Update live-usb-maker-qt-19.11.02.x86_64.AppImage

#1 Post by Moltke »

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a nice life! :)

I've been using live-usb-maker-qt-19.11.02.x86_64.AppImage, among others (20+ appimages) for some time now. A while ago I tried and failed to update it, not sure what I did wrong. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction as to how to properly update it.
Any help/advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your answers. :)
Without each other's help there ain't no hope for us

AppImmage programs don't update. Download the new one, delete the old one. Get the new one, 21.11, here:

Thanks for that. I was looking in the other one https://github.com/MX-Linux/lum-qt-appi ... g/19.11.02
One more thing, appimages do update; some have an update feature allowing them to auto-update, i.e Zettlr, Ferdi. There's also appimage update https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageUpdate which unfortunately doesn't work with every app out there, but with some, it does. In this case, I was looking at how to re-create the appimage(which I've done with others)by using newer pkgs, since every time I visited that https://github.com/MX-Linux/ link above, there weren't newer releases. Anyway, thanks for the link. Downloading right now
