Hmmm,

Ran into this today and it inspired me to work on another section:

Probably will keep it as a separate module... The original script's 'small' version was too spartan with no cover art and the medium size version was quite large so I whittled it down to the same size as the rest of my Conky..

Wow, Cool! You went to a lot of work on that one!
Thanks. Basically I created a desktop background with the MB and WD NVMe drive I actually own and wrote the conky around it. The problem with a centered conky like that is the amount of desktop you lose to Fluxbox's right-click menu.

**reclaimed almost 800 pixels. Now I have more room to access the root menu.

This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

Very cool. I've tried to get the XMMS code to work in conky with no luck. I think I keep getting daemon errors. +1 for Johnny Winter

not if you set the own_window_type variable to 'overwrite' in your conkyrc

Code: Select all

own_window_type = 'override',

Absolutely stunning. I follow three Oregon photographers for their excellent work.

Today's screenshot of my MX21 based fluxbox desktop.
Running a personalized version of AVLinux' beautiful 'Diehard' conky.
Bottom tint2 toolbar 'Minimo', now with added audio controls.
'Flux-Numix' fluxbox style & 'Fluent-grey-dark' gtk2/3 theme
Background is a noisified version of one of @brontosaurusrex's rendered 'flames' . Check it out, there are some really great images ...

New monitor+old monitor=Dual monitor operation.
But then it was easier than I first thought.
Side effect, I don't know yet if I have to be happy or angry about it, I will at least adapt my favorite wallpapers to the changed conditions.
screenshots with scrots are now quite wide :-)

mx-fluxbox, what else?

In nature there are neither rewards nor punishments.
There are consequences.
