completely remove xfce on mxlinux21 [Solved]

Hi guys,
i found several posts to remove xfce from mxlinux, but none for the mx21 version.
also this link from the wiki:

but it is valid for mx 14-15-16-17.
for 21 how should i proceed? i am using gnome, and i just want gnome.

I've never tested it on MX-21, but don't necessarily believe those version numbers are right--there's a very small number of people who work on the Wiki. I will test it in a MX-21 Live session after installing another DM--probably tonight.

Seems to work perfectly. I first installed lxde, then ran the script to remove Xfce, finally the command to install desktop-common-defaults-ms (or whatever the name) is. Logged out and back in, lxde came up, no Xfce but MX Tools all present.
