@Jerry3904 haha yeah I saw the click bait title when I opened it in another browser tab, haven't viewed it yet, not sure how much review it can be at 10mins long anyway.

Just added the FOSS Post review saying MX-21 is their choice for best Distro of 2021.
FOSS Post - MX Linux 21 Is The Best Linux Distribution Of 2021

Side note: they state that apps won’t really get updates since it’s based on Debian stable, and that using flatpaks makes up for that, but anyone that uses and knows MX, knows that isn’t really true since we updated tons of apps all the time ourselves.

Doesn't that also ignore backports?

Yea sort of, but updates from backports are not automatic. I’m talking about the app updates we do for our Repos which are often newer than even Debian backports and do update automatically if they are in our Stable Repo.

They also liked the Tour, and even included screenshots!

Thanks Adrian, added real quick to the first post, will edit/clean it up when I’m not replying from my phone.

Jesse's article is very well written, and it is based on a solid technical understanding of what he is writing about.

Interesting how he introduces MX at the end:
So far I've talked about distributions which I feel are ideal for people who want to be on the cutting edge, people who like a wide range of options, and newcomers who want a super easy first experience with Linux. But what about what I want? Personally, the distribution I felt most at home with this year was MX Linux.
That's a pretty good description of how such an old and ugly duckling (not sure what "old duckling" could even mean) could have the success it has had IMO.
