I found someone making lots of MX Linux 21 videos lately, he's a little all over the place sometimes, and the videos are pretty long sometimes. But he hits on some interesting things and seems to really like MXFB.

He made a video on "Howto Setup BTRFS with Timeshift and autosnap on MX Linux." I watched it at like x1.5 speed and haven't done the steps myself... but sharing right now for the heck of it.

I've updated some links. Please feel free to share anything you find as long as it meets the requirements in the first post, if you're not sure you can still post them here... they just might not get added to the top post.

This video mostly just reads the release notes and clicks through things, I don't think it adds anything for new or current users over the better videos out there, and kinda is what I stated that I don't want to include in the list. I will add it if enough users think otherwise though.

No, I agree. I am persuaded that we need to stay with substantive reviews for our list on the website to be useful.

Thanks, @Stufe for paying attention to this!

@SwampRabbit - just noticed that the YT video recently mentioned here as submitted by @Stufe has almost 700 views.

Big deal this is not a hard OS to learn. And it is only an OS after all. This is not to put someone down, just stating a fact.

Perhaps that's one of the selling points? Maybe being not hard to learn sets it apart from other OSs, along with being easy to use, stable, and basically providing the things people look for.

Despite being "only an OS" there are differences between MX and other distros that are "only OSs" after all. And I think some could argue that it is more than an OS as it comes packaged with certain other things people use and like.

So regardless of being "only an OS", time, work, and I believe even love, has gone into producing this mere OS, and a lot of people seem to appreciate it.
