Messages for web

#1 Post by richb »

An app I find useful is Messages for Web. It allows text messages from your Android phone to be viewed and responded to on your computer. You link it through a wifi connection. Useful when your phone is not near by.
It is a Google app. So if you avoid all things Google not for you.

There are other apps that accomplish the same. A web search will reveal them.

+1. I've been using it for a while. I'm rubbish with phones, and often at home, so this is great for me.

Works great, I wonder if there's an extension that would check and notify you of new messages, or you need to keep the tab open.

You can have phone notification switched on, so you get an audible alert; that's what I rely on.

I wish there was an extension that made my phone start jumping or something so I can SEE and keep seeing until I click
