Thanks mike. I kinda dig Colorways. I'm using the Cheers — Bold style which looks good with the dark reader extension.

Check here for release notes to update Ff v94
Sorter explains why there are changes to your default settings etc...

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/9 ... ox-browser

Colour ways is but the small bit of the update to Ff v94
One of the bigger additions is "Additional Benefits of Site Isolation"
Read the release notes for further info.

This may explain why some user settings were changed between Ff 93 to 94 versions.
Some large underlying changes were needed.

[why was my post deleted by the way, this is going back to the old forum ways, please tell me by PM or post in thread Admin's}

Much respect for the MX team, always

Can one of you please tell a newbie how to edit the titlebar settings? I just installed MX on a new machine and the titles are half covered by the window and the min/max/close buttons are minuscule. I have changed every other icon and font in the system, but so far nothing affects the window titlebars. thanks

I'm presuming you mean the Firefox title bar? Put "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" without the quotes into the Firefox configuration page and play about with values from -1.0 to 1.5 and see if you can find a suitable size compromise.

Thanks very much. I actually meant *all* windows in my new MX desktop.

Ah, ok. You would be better to start a new topic in the help section and one of the savvy people will be able to assist you. Your request might not get seen as it's tagged onto the end of a topic already marked as solved by the op. Remember to post your quick system info when you start your topic, and hopefully, someone will quickly sort your problem for you.

@mmikeinsantarosa anything in the notes about resetting certain profile settings?
been busy. pinning some things here:
firefox policy templates are here and preferences are here
Policies can be specified using the Group Policy templates on Windows, Intune on Windows, configuration profiles on macOS, or by creating a file called policies.json. On Windows, create a directory called distribution where the EXE is located and place the file there. On Mac, the file goes into Firefox.app/Contents/Resources/distribution. On Linux, the file goes into firefox/distribution, where firefox is the installation directory for firefox, which varies by distribution or you can specify system-wide policy by placing the file in /etc/firefox/policies.
maybe something can be done with requestedlocales

a Firefox refresh resets add-ons and settings and every update since about 93.0 has prompted me for a refresh.
