Dear developers,

The "mx-datetime" file in Transifex was translated in September 2019.

Today, the software is still not translated into French in my MX Linux version.

When can we expect an update of this package?

Sincerely,
Wallon

When someone steps up and helps out, I guess. We have translators for various languages, people who volunteer their time to help out.

Dear Eadwine Rose,

I agree with you, as I too give my time to translate antiX and MXLinux into French.
I just thought we forgot to update this package.

Sincerely,
Wallon

Compared with my MX-19.4_ahs_x64:
file:///usr/share/mx-datetime/locale/mx-datetime_fr.qm is installed.
In theory it should work if you have it (and if the file is OK).

The Swedish translation works without problems.

Dear Utopia,

The file /usr/share/mx-datetime/locale/mx-datetime_fr.qm is well installed on my desktop.
Please see my screenshoot, nearly all is in English.

Best regards,
Wallon

Have you tried reinstalling mx-datetime? When something is wrong, the translations defaults to English.

Dear Utopia,
No, I have not tried to reinstall mx-datetime.
First, I think I should open the mx-datetime_fr.qm file to see if all the translations are in French but I can't open it. I don't know if this file is editable.
Secondly, I don't know the command to reinstall mx-datetime.
Thank you for your interest in this subject.
Best regards,
Wallon
