I don't understand this comment. got a screenshot?Eadwine Rose wrote: Wed Oct 06, 2021 4:35 am
Oh, did find something. The dropdown does not drop down under application - window manager - icons. I have to click that spot repeatedly to change the content (as in: it then rolls through the options).

Re: MX-21 RC1 feedback (Xfce)
Oh.. now that is interesting.. I go back in MX Tweak to make a screenshot, and I am seeing windows with scrollbars underneath those three titles in the Theme tab. *scratches head* Crooked volt.
I was seeing, instead of windows, only 1 line, with a little mini spot where I guess the scrollbar would have been, and clicking on that spot would make the options roll by one by one.
But yeah, no matter, glitch I guess.

Re: MX-21 RC1 feedback (Xfce)
Live XFCE RC1 system on a HP Mini 110.
After 10 minutes of no activity the screen is turned off. When resuming by moving the mouse a little, only the cursor returns, in a black screen. No reaction at mouse or keyboard buttons, except:
The rest can be recovered by Ctrl + Alt+F7 after pressing first e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F2
EDIT:
Same problem with the installed MX-21 RC1 system.
After resume only a moving mouse cursor. I need to do the trick with the key combinations to get back all the functionality.
Kernel 5.x does not support the RTL8101 Ethernet adapter: Connected but no Ethernet connection.
Also it would have been nice when a lower kernel version (e.g. 4.9) could be selected before or during the installation of MX-Linux.
This is because the 5.x kernels do not correctly support the RTL8101 Ethernet adapter of my very handy HP mini 110, which is unfortunately also a problem with many other distributions.

FWIW. in MXPI, kernel 5.10 is mislabeled as 4.19

Thanks.TOMCAT wrote: Wed Oct 06, 2021 3:24 am Switching the system-language (system-locales) does not update the name of the user folder.
Actually you would not need to switch system language, but just login with the chosen locale at the login screen.
A fix is identified and after some testing will be come soonish as an update...
