“better” is subjective, MX isn’t better than Debian, it’s different. Most people will talk about it being more user friendly out of the box, the MX tools, antiX live system, more and updated packages, the community.

For some and what they want to do, Debian may be better, for others MX may be better.

MX is better for the following reasons: easy to install, semi rolling release, some software is newer, larger repositories with more software, tools and tweaks that makes it easy, no systemD, and not locked out of non free or open source software.
I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

systemd is installed but boot defaults to SysV unless you go to advanced options from the boot screen.
This is my Fluxbox . There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My Fluxbox is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my Fluxbox is useless. Without my Fluxbox, I am useless.

There are no absolute "better" reasons. Different users have different goals.
Production: MX-23 Xfce, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 16 GB, SSD 120 GB, Data 1TB
Personal: Lenovo X1 Carbon with MX-23 Fluxbox
Other: Raspberry Pi 5 with MX-23 Xfce Raspberry Pi Respin

MX may be better than Debian, but IMO antiX is EVEN better.

Wrong! SystemD is disabled by default.
