it won't, but it will disable the option to use/not use Client Side Decorations in mx-tweak. but the gtk3-nocsd is causing LOTS of issues, and they all look weird like that firefox right-click then. that package will not be included on final.

While investigating the issue of no sound and not working internal laptop digital microphone in the MX-19.4.1_ahs_x64 package, it was found that the problem is related to Pulseaudio V12.2, which comes in the MX-19.4.1_ahs_x64 package, because:
in Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, Ubuntu Mate 20.04.2 LTS both sound and microphones work out of the box with Pulseaudio V13.99.1;
Manjaro XFCE and KDE 21.0.7 also have sound and microphones working out of the box with Pulseaudio V14.2;
there are records on the Ubuntu forum that it was after the Pulseaudio update to V13.99.1 that digital microphones started working;
HP ZBook Firefly 15.6 "G8 laptop in MX-19.4.1_ahs_x64, Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, Ubuntu Mate 20.04.2 LTS, Manjaro XFCE and KDE 21.0.7 uses the sof-audio-pci sound card driver, and the mixer Pulseaudio devices are signed sof-hda-dsp But in MX-19.4.1_ahs_x64 in Pulseaudio configuration there is no choice of digital microphone, only analog (unsupported) microphone can be selected.
When Debian 11 is installed with Pulseaudio V14.2, then in debian-live-11.0.0-amd64-cinnamon + nonfree.iso and debian-live-11.0.0-amd64-xfce + nonfree.iso sound and digital microphone work out of the box when loading a live session. But when installing MX-21_beta1_x64 again there was no sound and the laptop digital microphone did not work. The problem with the lack of sound was solved by installing the firmware-sof-signed_1.7-1_all.deb package and after rebooting the sound started working, but the microphone did not work. My guess is that this issue has something to do with Pulseaudio V14.2 settings when detecting hardware.

Ok. I just thought that to get rid of the 3 dots :) Let's say you managed to shorten names to xyz.desktop etc. and it still shows as xyz.de... though it's not long .. then ... :)

@Andrii our pulseaudio is the same as debians.

have you checked the alsa microphone channel to see if the digital microphone channel is muted? I presume the digital microphone shows as an option in MX21.

@dolphin_oracle
When all devices are selected in alsa, both digital microphones are displayed and activated.
